Open top and flat bottom, Polypropylene (HDPE) Big Bag.

Open top, flat bottom “Basic” Big Bag
made of Polypropylene (HDPE).

Big Bags made with high-density polyethylene (HDPE)

Big Bags are usually made of Polypropylene, but sometimes it would be more advisable to make them out of other materials such as Polyethylene.

++ Polyethylene Big Bags are more UV stable, so they are more suitable (but not immune) than polyethylene Big Bags if the Big Bags are to be exposed to the sun for a prolonged period.

++ Polyethylene Big Bags have a lower degree of oxidation than traditional polyethylene Big Bags, so they are more suitable if they are to be used near the sea, or in very humid environments.

++ Polyethylene Big Bags have a lower porosity than those made of polyethylene, so they are more suitable when transfers with the contained product must be reduced to a minimum.

– – Polyethylene Big Bags are slightly weaker than those made of polypropylene, so their resistance to a very high weight is lower.

– – Polyethylene products are approximately 15% more expensive than those made from polypropylene.

Polyethylene Big Bags are visually very similar to polypropylene Big Bags. They are also opaque, a little shinier than the polypropylene Big Bags, with a slightly different feel and roughness.

Multisac can supply Big Bags of any configuration, SWL, and safety factor made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
