Coated Bags

Coated Bags have a polyethylene (PE) film adhered to the body of the bag to make it more impermeable and less breathable.

The coating can be internal or external, the latter being the most common, as opposed to Coated Big Bags.

The coating not only protects, but also helps to prevent the PP fabric from fraying in cases where the bag has an open top and a thermal cut, or when some kind of punch handle has been added for easier handling.
