Big Bags with inner liner
Big Bags with a polyethylene (PE) inner liner allow products to be packaged, avoiding direct contact with the polypropylene that is part of the Big Bag fabric itself. In this way the content remains more and better isolated from the outside, also reducing its perspiration.
In the case of very dusty products, this inner cover also prevents escape or leakage to the outside through the walls, base, or seams of the Big Bags.
It is very important to supply this type of Big Bag with the inner liner properly placed inside so that during the filling process the inner liner does not fold in an unwanted way and so that the cover does not break during transport. Thus, the inner liners can simply be placed inside the Big Bag, glued to the walls, secured by side ties, and/or sewn to the top of the Big Bag.
Different types of inner liners
The inner liners can have basic configurations in the shape of a cube like the body of the Big Bag, or include cylindrical extensions at the top and/or bottom so that they also cover the loading and unloading valves internally.
Sometimes the inner liners should be blue or black to better locate possible remains of the product contained, such as pine nuts, for example.
Inner liners can be supplied made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or low-density polyethylene (LDPE), and even other materials such as aluminum, all of them with different thicknesses, resistances, and degrees of insulation.
